New Year's Day

Lake Scranton was a stunning setting for this New Year’s Day wedding. A big shout out goes to V.I.P. Limosine Service, LLC, whose prompt service and spacious accommodations offered the bride, the groom and their wedding party a warm retreat before whisking them off to the reception. Additional images can be seen on facebook.

I’m looking forward to photographing a wedding this weekend at St. Gregory’s in Clarks Summit and the reception at The Scranton Cultural Center. That space makes my job pretty easy. I’ve also been busy processing images from a New Year’s Eve wedding at St. Peter’s Cathedral. I’m excited to post those, along with some reception images from The Colonnade, but not until the bride and groom enjoy them first. The same goes for the images from my New Year’s Day wedding. It’s was a hectic holiday season.

Robin Hill Florist

I’ve worked with Kathleen and Errol from Robin Hill Florist on a number of weddings. For this particular wedding, the bride wanted nothing but gerbera daisies, and plenty of them. The fountain in the entryway of The Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel was spilling over with flowers.

Equally as stunning were the centerpieces on each table. A single daisy was submerged in a simple hurricane vase, and at the bottom of each vase was an electric candle that illuminated the underside of the gerbera.

Christmas Eve 2010

Jim and Leiha were married in Boston but celebrated their marriage locally with a mass on Christmas Eve at St. Adalbert’s in Dickson City. St. Adalbert’s was also the location for Jim’s brother’s wedding, as well as his parents’ and grandparents’. Following the ceremony, a luncheon was held at The Colonnade. Additional pictures from this album and examples of other weddings can be seen here.
