About Me
I graduated from The Columbus College of Art & Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. The principle philosophy behind my college education was form follows function. Huh?
Form Follows Function
A designer tea pot first and foremost must boil water. If it can not boil water, it is not a very good teapot, no matter how cool it looks. As a wedding photographer, I have to capture the expected moments, the kiss, the dances, the cake cutting as well as numerous other expected moments, but the form comes from diligent observation. My strength is in recognizing the complex dynamic relationship between the bride and groom and their friends and their families. There have been countless decisions made in the planning of the day which make a wedding a truly unique milestone in anybody's life. Those decisions are utilized to make your day more fantastic than anyone else's.
Experience
While in college I worked closely with two photographers who created distinct imagery for many national campaigns. The clients with whom we collaborated included Nike, Asics, The Limited, GQ, and Esquire magazine. Because of my college experience I have been able to continue my craft and build my own clientele, which includes Rolling Stone magazine, Timberland, Smart Money magazine, lisab.com and Hemisphere Magazine.
